Adrian Black has worked in and around the retail industry for over 35 years. Having worked closely with 150+ brands from retail start-ups through to global market leaders, Adrian has seen what it takes to achieve success and how to deliver strategic improvements.
In 2009, Adrian created Black Line Group to support retailers wanting cost effective store development services. The Global Financial Crisis probably wasn’t the ideal time to launch a new business, but the principles and values were sound, and Black Line Group has since opened thousands of stores in Australia, New Zealand, United States, United Kingdom and South Africa.

Ten years later, Adrian launched Ticked Off which has become Australia’s leading retail facilities management solution saving time and money for brands large and small.
In 2024, Houston Plus was launched as a SaaS solution for multi-site, customer facing businesses looking to regain control of their portfolio. With more features and automations than any other solution, Houston Plus is helping businesses save real time and money.
